The exhibition has been co-designed and developed by Harvard graduate students in collaboration with members of the Self Employed Women's Association.
This project reflects the collaborative work of an interdisciplinary team. Members of the Self Employed Womens Association graciously contributed their time, videos, digital artifacts from the pandemic, and oral testimonials.
The exhibition’s creative direction and design were led by Dr. Satchit Balsari and Hiteshree Das. Photography was by Mitul Kajaria. Vishwesh Surve, together with 50 SEWA members, crafted the 18 ft × 9 ft hand-embroidered tapestry.
Video compilations and montages for the interactive 80-phone display were produced by Robert McCarthy and Deepak Ramola. Data visualizations were developed by Karthik Girish and Shariq M. Shah, Felipe Gonzalez Casabianca and Robert Meade. Curatorial text contributed by Dr. Satchit Balsari and Kartikeya Bhatotia.
The website and digital curatorial companions were developed by Joe Nallen, with program support from Shubhangi Bhadada.
